1. Who we are

Exclusive Mortgage Company ("Exclusive Mortgage," "we," "us," or "our") is a mortgage brokerage located at 1061 W Avenue M-14, Suite C, Palmdale, CA 93551. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through our website, our forms, our phone and text messaging, and the course of doing business with you.

By using our website or submitting information to us, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or submit information.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Name, email address, phone number, and mailing address
  • Anything you type into a contact, application, or careers form
  • Employment, income, asset, and debt information you provide during a loan inquiry or application
  • Identification details required by law for a mortgage application, which may include your Social Security number and date of birth
  • Communication records, including emails, text messages, and notes from calls

Information we collect automatically

  • IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, referring site, and time spent
  • Cookie and similar identifiers, as described in section 6

Information from third parties

  • Credit reports and scores from consumer reporting agencies, when you authorize a credit check
  • Verification information from employers, banks, and other institutions you identify
  • Information from lenders, real estate agents, title companies, and other parties to your transaction

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiry and provide the services you asked for
  • To evaluate, process, underwrite, and close a mortgage loan
  • To confirm appointments, send reminders, and notify you of schedule updates or important changes
  • To communicate with you by phone, email, and text about your file
  • To send marketing communications, where you have consented and subject to your right to opt out
  • To comply with federal and state lending, licensing, anti-money-laundering, and recordkeeping requirements
  • To protect against fraud, secure our systems, and enforce our agreements
  • To improve our website and understand how it is used

4. SMS and mobile data

If you provide your phone number and consent, we may contact you by text message about your inquiry, your loan file, appointment confirmations, reminders, and schedule changes.

We do not share your mobile information, text messaging originator opt-in data, or consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with the service providers that help us deliver the messaging program, and those providers are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.

You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for assistance, or email jon@exclusivemortgageco.com. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency may vary. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Full messaging terms are in our Terms & Conditions.

Opting out of text messages does not opt you out of email or phone contact, and it does not affect messages we are required to send you about an active loan.

5. When we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to do our job or as the law requires:

  • Lenders and investors we submit your loan to on your behalf
  • Service providers such as loan origination systems, credit reporting agencies, appraisers, title and escrow companies, e-signature platforms, and our email and text messaging vendors
  • Other parties to your transaction, such as your real estate agent, when you ask us to coordinate with them
  • Regulators, auditors, and law enforcement, when required by law, subpoena, or examination
  • A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

As a financial institution, we are also subject to the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. Where required, we provide a separate privacy notice describing how we share nonpublic personal financial information and how you may limit certain sharing.

6. Cookies and tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use our pages. These fall into three groups: strictly necessary cookies that make the site function, analytics cookies that tell us which pages are useful, and advertising cookies that may be set by third parties if we run online advertising.

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies in their settings, and you can usually block third-party cookies specifically. Some parts of the site may not work properly if you do. Where required by law, we treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.

7. Your choices

  • Text messages: reply STOP to any message from us
  • Marketing email: click the unsubscribe link in any marketing email
  • Phone calls: tell us during a call, or email us, and we will add you to our internal do-not-call list
  • Updating your information: contact us and we will correct it

8. California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, gives you the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell or share
  • Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information — we do not sell or share it as those terms are defined
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

Note that personal information we collect and process in connection with a mortgage application is largely governed by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and is exempt from certain CCPA requirements. 9. How we protect your information

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encrypted transmission of documents and restricted internal access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not email sensitive documents or your Social Security number — ask us for a secure upload link instead.

10. How long we keep it

We keep loan records for as long as required by federal and California lending and licensing rules, and for as long as needed for legitimate business purposes such as audits, disputes, and enforcing our agreements. Inquiry and marketing records are kept until you ask us to delete them or they are no longer useful.

11. Children

Our website and services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on our website. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
